New PET scanner coming soon to Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook
Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne says in 2017 a decision was made to change the design of the hospital to not include a PET Scanner but in 2021, government gave the hospital’s Foundation $2 million dollars to purchase the equipment.
