12 people vying for 3 vacant council seats in Stephenville

    The by-election will be held March 6th. 

    Twelve people have been nominated for an election to fill 3 councillor vacancies in the town of Stephenville. This after nearly half the council resigned recently for various reasons. Names on the ballot will include Darren Roberts, Darrell Shelley, Gerard Pomeroy, Geoff Benoit, Ken Penton, Maurice Hynes, Patrick Mercer, Paul Green, Paul Grenier, Ray Tompkins, Tom O’Brien and Trevor Murphy. The by-election will be held March 6th.
