Government is hosting an international economic mission, including 27 Heads of Mission from around the world. The event provides the province with the opportunity to showcase its economic potential and vast resources to the international delegation. It started Monday (Nov 4th) and will run until Thursday. Sessions will include presentations from leaders in industry, academia and government, and discussions will focus on energy and natural resources, ocean technology and research ecosystem, climate change, internationalization and academic partnerships, as well as business and innovation. Premier Andrew Furey says “by bringing world leaders here, they can see first-hand all that we have to offer and make the necessary connections to start relationships that will yield economic growth for the province.”
