$50 million in low-interest loans available for developers of affordable rental units

    The aim of the program is to help increase the availability of affordable housing as quickly as possible.

    Government is looking for property developers for new purpose-built residential rental projects. The program is part of the government’s five-point plan designed to help increase the availability of affordable housing. Up to $50 million in low-interest loans will be available for property developers to encourage the construction of new rental housing. The aim of the program is to help increase the availability of housing as quickly as possible. Expressions of Interest are being accepted until Wednesday, February 21st.
