72 year old man charged with impaired after a two vehicle collision in Corner Brook

    When police got there a driver told them the other driver involved in the collision ran into a nearby home.

    A 72 year old man is facing a drunk driving charge after being involved in a two vehicle collision in the Humber Heights area. RNC say it happened shortly before 6:15 yesterday evening. When police got there a driver told them the other driver involved in the collision ran into a nearby home. At the detachment, the man provided a breath sample which showed above legal limits of alcohol. The man’s vehicle was impounded Then at 11:30 last night, RNC responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Confederation Drive. Officers located the vehicle a short time after and the driver provided a breath sample which resulted in a warning. The 19 year old man from Stephenville, was issued a 7 day driving suspension and his vehicle was impounded.
