73 year old woman picked up in McIver's for impaired driving

    Cst James Cadigan says officers located the vehicle in a ditch over an embankment.

    A 73 year old woman is facing an impaired driving charge after a member of the public called in a tip. RNC received a report around 9 o’clock Sunday night that a vehicle had driven off the road in McIvers. Cst James Cadigan says officers located the vehicle in a ditch over an embankment. The operator was at scene and was not injured. She was issued a driving suspension and the vehicle was seized from the scene. The woman has been released to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
