Charges included= possession of property obtained by crime, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. The officer was not injured.
A 35-year-old woman put up a fight and assaulted a police officer in St. John’s shortly after midnight. RNC located a stolen vehicle in a parking lot on Harvey Road. Police identified the woman who was operating the vehicle and attempted to arrest her. That’s when she started fighting with one of the officers. She spent the night in lockup and is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. The officer was not injured. She was also issued a ticket for driving without a license.
