There have been a couple of moose sightings this month at Grenfell Campus chalets. While most of the time, moose just keep going there could be instances where they can be dangerous and a nuisance. Bob Edwards is the head of Grenfell Campus Enforcement and Patrol (CEP). He says they send out a notification through the MUN Safe App when there are sightings. Edwards says even though the fall semester hasn’t started yet there are still people staying on campus like International students who may have never seen a moose. Edwards says they will call in the Wildlife Division if the animal is dangerous. Campus residents are asked to not approach or stop to take photos of any wildlife that may wander onto campus grounds.
