A 47 year old man in St. John’s has died after colliding into a pole while driving a scooter. RNC were called to the scene at around 9:20 a.m. in the area of Water Street and Hamilton Avenue. Tip of a possible impaired driver
The RNC pulled him over around 2 p.m. on Tuesday after getting a tip of a possible impaired driver at a convenience store on First Avenue.
Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP and Traffic Services West took three vehicles off the road and laid charges during a traffic initiative late last week.
On April 9th just after 9 a.m., police tried to stop an off-road vehicle on the Main Road in Oregans. The operator was not wearing a helmet, refused to stop and fled from police at a high rate of speed. The next day, RCMP arrested a 19-year-old man in Millville.
