A request to improve cell phone connection on roadways

    The department is seeking professional services from qualified consultants with specialized telecommunications/communications technology expertise.

    Government is looking for proposals to improve connectivity throughout the province. Industry, Energy and Technology Minister Andrew Parsons says they are looking for solutions along roadways with significant mobility service gaps. He says we all know there is room for better cell coverage in this province.

    Parsons says with almost ten thousand kilometres of road it's tough to be able to connect. The department is seeking professional services from qualified consultants with specialized telecommunications/communications technology expertise.
