Grenfell Campus is planning a two week campus-wide network outage from June 15-30th. It’s necessary to make repairs and upgrades in relation to the cyber security incident that occurred last December. Extensive planning has been underway for weeks to minimize impacts on campus operations, academics, research, and student services. Dr. Ken Jacobsen is the vice-president of Grenfell Campus. He says “While they recognize that this will cause inconvenience, it is required to ensure students have the optimal experience in the fall” and thanks “dedicated employees who worked on temporary solutions to get through the winter semester and the patience of students.”
