ACOA Minister expects big growth in Gros Morne National Park

    Also the Rural Economic Development Minister and Long Range Mountains MP, Hutchings attended Gros Morne’s 50th anniversary celebrations this past weekend.

    Recently appointed as the new ACOA Minister, Gudie Hutchings is excited about the tourism potential in this province. Also the Rural Economic Development Minister and Long Range Mountains MP, Hutchings attended Gros Morne’s 50th anniversary celebrations this past weekend. She says it was an honour to have  former Prime Minister Jean Chretien here fifty years after he signed the agreement for Gros Morne National Park. Hutchings expects to see tourism growth in the area and says we have what tourists are looking for. Half the visitors to this province each year visit Gros Morne National Park.
