ACOA money to help co-operatives in this province

    This co-operative incubator pilot program will support the growth and development of new, local co-operatives while providing clients with training, advice and mentorship.

    A financial boost from ACOA will help the Newfoundland-Labrador Federation of Co-operatives to launch an incubator pilot program. Slightly more than $82,000 was made available through the Rural Economic Growth program. This co-operative incubator pilot program will support the growth and development of new, local co-operatives while providing clients with training, advice and mentorship. There are approximately 70 registered co-operatives in Newfoundland and Labrador.
