• August 1st will from now on be known as "Corner Brook Day" but it's not a civic holiday

  The City’s civic holiday remains as the third Monday in February as part of Winter Carnival.

  Shortly after ten o’clock Thursday morning, RCMP were passed on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) by a SUV travelling at 155 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone and the driver, a 45-year-old Corner Brook man, was ticketed.
