The province's Auditor General has issued a news release saying she agrees to undertake this performance audit.
The Public Accounts Committee has issued a request for an audit on Personal Care and Long Term Care homes. In April, the Auditor general issued a report on recommendations from 2014 to 2020. This came with concerns that some recommendations have not been resolved, including those dealing with life-safety.
Meanwhile, the province's Auditor General has issued a news release saying she agrees to undertake this performance audit. Denise Hanrahan says “As a result of recommendations not being fully implemented, risks remain, or further risks may be created. Given there are numerous outstanding recommendations, resolving them is an important process.”
