An early morning fire guts a house in Corner Brook

    The house was vacant at the time, but RNC evacuated several homes in the area for safety.

    No one was injured during a blaze that gutted a Corner Brook house early Monday morning. The Corner Brook Fire Department and the RNC attended the house fire at 105 Windsor Street at around 2 a.m. The house was vacant at the time, but RNC evacuated several homes in the area for safety. Fire officials say the home was extensively damaged as well as two cars inside a garage and an adjacent home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
