The 22-year-old woman from Corner Brook is facing three counts of Assaulting a Police Officer, Assault and Uttering Threats.
Shortly after midnight police were called to the West Street area after getting a call about an intoxicated woman crying. On arrival. RNC located the woman and she was taken to hospital for treatment due to her high level of intoxication. At the hospital, police say she assaulted a hospital staff member, three police officers and threatened them. The 22-year-old woman from Corner Brook is facing three counts of Assaulting a Police Officer, Assault and Uttering Threats. RNC released the woman once she sobered up this morning. She is due to appear in court at a later date.
