Two male teenagers are facing charges that include assault with a weapon after a party on the east coast on May 18th. The RNC issued a warning to parents and teens last week about the risks of end of school parties as a result. An injured teen was treated by paramedics before being taken to the hospital. Cst James Cadigan says parties will become more common as the school year ends and these parties are happening in all parts of the province. He says parents need to speak to students about the dangers of these parties and to keep in touch with teens. He says teens need to travel with a buddy and carry a cell phone.
