A non-load bearing beam on the exterior of the Forest Centre at Grenfell campus failed yesterday morning leading to a level closure and a clean up throughout the day. An emergency alert was issued shortly after 11 a.m. that triggered all second level main doors to lock, making the Forest Centre only accessible through First Floor doors and the underground tunnel at the Forestry building. People were advised at the time to stay away from the area and to follow advice of Campus Enforcement. Meanwhile, it was business as usual at the campus yesterday.
