Nearly $43 million dollars is up for grabs under the Applications for the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership. It’s a five-year, $3.5 billion initiative with five key areas of focus. The Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue was called in to help around 10:20 yesterday morning and about 20 members of the team showed up.

RCMP find cocaine, pills, cash and more during a traffic stop near Pynn's Brook, two people charged
The driver, a 37-year-old man, and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman, were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.
