Big bucks for roadwork on west coast

    Culvert replacements between Corner Brook to Pynn's Brook.

    Government has announced contracts towards four road projects, including one on the west coast.  A $5.4 million contract goes to Marine Contractors Ltd. for culvert replacements between Corner Brook and the Pynn’s Brook Weigh Scales, as well as,  rehabilitation of the ramp to Humber Village (Exit 9) Sections along Route 430, the Northern Peninsula Highway, will get 9.4 million dollars to replace culverts and pavement.
