    BREAKING: RCMP searching for escaped inmate from Stephenville prison

    Thirty-one-year-old Tyler Bennett escaped just after 6:00 p.m. today.

    Bay St. George RCMP is actively searching for an escaped inmate from the West Coast Correctional Centre in Stephenville. Thirty-one-year-old Tyler Bennett escaped just after 6:00 p.m. today.

    Bennett is 5’8” tall and weighs 160 pounds. He is believed to be shirtless and has multiple tattoos.

    RCMP say there are no immediate concerns for public safety but urge anyone who sees him to contact police and not confront him.
