Busy weekend for police in the capital city

    Police were called out to 458 calls between Friday and Sunday.

    A busy weekend for St.John’s RNC. Police were called out to 458 calls between Friday and Sunday.  Friday night, a 56 year old man was charged with impaired driving and the vehicle was impounded. Then, ten minutes before midnight a 37-year-old man was arrested after a break in at a Torbay home. At 1:30 Saturday morning, a 41-year-old man was arrested for stealing a vehicle in the area of New Pennywell Road, and a 31-year-old man was arrested after a break in at a Mount Pearl home early Saturday morning.
