Calling Indigenous Artists

    Titled, “Tekweywinen tel weljesultiek,” this multidisciplinary exhibition will be interactive and play-based.

    Here’s a chance for Indigenous artists to have their work shown during an exhibition at the Rooms in St. John’s next year. Titled, “Tekweywinen tel weljesultiek,” this multidisciplinary exhibition will be interactive and play-based. Showcasing seven Indigenous artists based in Wabanaki, this exhibition will be on display from Sept 21, 2024, to April 6, 2025 at the Rooms. The deadline for submission is January 15th. The Rooms may provide some financial support to assist in the creation of some works, negotiable based on a production budget proposed by the artist.
