In her letter, she says “the only honest and visible path is for her to resign. Freeland says “to be effective, a Minister must speak on behalf of the Prime Minister and with his full confidence.” She says they have found themselves at odds about the next path forward for Canada. Meanwhile, Freeland says our country is facing a grave challenge with the incoming administration in the United States and the threat of 25 percent tariffs. Freeland will run in the next federal election for her Toronto seat.
