School’s almost out for summer and the Corner Brook Mill Whistler train is ready to give kids a ride. Glenda Simms is the city’s Supervisor of Tourism. She says they’ve done a lot of work to the little red train, like adding new speakers, a new tv screen which can feature karaoke words. Simms says the train is ready for action. She says they also offer runs for retirement homes and extra runs when cruise season starts. The train will run from Tuesdays to Sundays. Simms says it will ride at different times from morning until evening. The cost is same as always, $2 a ride.
