The city of Corner Brook is looking for a few good men or women to become firefighters. Director of Protective Services, Todd Flynn, says every few years, they have to advertise for these positions. He says people retire, need medical leave, and sometimes leave for other careers. Flynn says this is a way to replace those positions and the city is looking for 4-6 new firefighters. He says candidates will also have to provide a clear code of conduct. The job posting will be up until enough candidates have applied. For more information go to cornerbrook.com.
