The cold temperatures have been keeping city crews busy in Corner Brook. Sand trucks were out early this morning as the temperature hovered around the minus twenties. Mayor Jim Parsons joined Lenny Benoit on Bayfm this morning. He says city snow blowers will soon be making the rounds. Parsons says motorists need to be careful at intersections. Someone is messing with fire hydrants in Stephenville and police look for the public's help
Thursday morning (November 21st), police got a report that a fire hydrant located on Connecticut Drive had been turned on sometime overnight, leading to the loss of a substantial amount of water.
