    Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne congratulates BayFM

    Byrne was instrumental in getting funding for the station, which relaunched as BayFM in June.

    Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne is beaming with pride today after hearing news that Bayfm has won a  national award, the Best Community or Campus radio station from the Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards. Byrne was instrumental in getting funding for the station, which relaunched as BayFM in June. Byrne says this award is well deserved and he couldn’t be prouder of the talent here at home. He says it’s money well spent.
