Hike for hundreds in Corner Brook
June is Recreation month, a time to recognize the importance of being active and involved. Stephanie Bennett is the Recreation Supervisor with the City of Corner Brook. She says they have a challenge for everyone that can lead to a $300 prize by hiking 3 trails around the city and sending a picture of each trek. Corner Brook to launch evening and weekend on-demand transit service April 1st
At last night’s public meeting, council approved a change order for transit to allow the extended service hours for Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
