Hike for hundreds in Corner Brook
June is Recreation month, a time to recognize the importance of being active and involved. Stephanie Bennett is the Recreation Supervisor with the City of Corner Brook. She says they have a challenge for everyone that can lead to a $300 prize by hiking 3 trails around the city and sending a picture of each trek. Missing Corner Brook man found deceased
The Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue was called in to help around 10:20 yesterday morning and about 20 members of the team showed up.
Victim airlifted to St. John's and suspect found dead after a shooting in Grand Falls-Windsor
Shortly after 2:30 yesterday afternoon RCMP were called to a home on Main Street and located the victim inside.

A Bell 206L helicopter crashed in the Taylor's Brook area on March 19.
RCMP find cocaine, pills, cash and more during a traffic stop near Pynn's Brook, two people charged
The driver, a 37-year-old man, and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman, were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.
