Hike for hundreds in Corner Brook
June is Recreation month, a time to recognize the importance of being active and involved. Stephanie Bennett is the Recreation Supervisor with the City of Corner Brook. She says they have a challenge for everyone that can lead to a $300 prize by hiking 3 trails around the city and sending a picture of each trek. Peter Parsons is the owner of the Tin Man Inc in Corner Brook and says heat pumps are not efficient here due to the dampness in the air, and they struggle around minus 5, burning more electricity.
