Corner Brook Port back from big cruise ship symposium

    Jennifer Hartley says they met with a number of cruise lines with an interest in coming here and it was a great opportunity to network.

    Corner Brook’s first cruise visit of the season is set to arrive in port this Friday. Four visits have been canceled by the Navigator so far due to heavy ice in the Gulf. Jennifer Hartley is the Business Development Manager with the Corner Brook Port Corporation. She recently attended the Cruise Canada New England Symposium in Quebec. Hartley says they met with a number of cruise lines with an interest in coming here and it was a great opportunity to network. Hartley says this year was a record year for the number of attendees at the symposium.
