Well known local radio personality and musician Bill Bartlett has passed away. If you grew up in Newfoundland, chances are his voice was a regular guest in your ears, your home, and your parents' car on the way to school. You likely heard him on CFCB's morning show, and he continued to share down-home music on Country 93.3 in Fort McMurray up until this year. Bill Bartlett was a man of words, melodies, and always enjoyed a good laugh.

BayFM’s Lenny Benoit says Bill is the reason he came to Corner Brook. Benoit had been working at CFGN in Port aux Basques and Bill was the Program Director. He asked Benoit to come work in Corner Brook. Benoit says Bill was a professional when it came to radio. Funeral arrangements are unknown at this time.
