A 24 year old Man was found with a number of items that did not belong to him.
Police arrested a 27 year old man who was wanted on two warrants in Corner Brook Friday evening. Shortly after 5:15 p.m. officers noticed the man while patrolling O’Connell Drive.
Then, shortly after 6 p.m, RNC responded to a theft at a business in the Murphy Square area. A 24 year old man had left the area prior to police arrival but CCTV footage was received and viewed. While on an unrelated call officers located and identified the Corner Brook man and he was arrested. He has been charged with Theft Under $5000 and was released to appear in court at a later date.
Just after 11 o’clock Friday night police got a call about an intoxicated man trying to get into vehicles. The 24 year old was found with a number of items that did not belong to him. He was arrested and charged with Trespass at Night and Possession of Stolen Property. Due to his high level of intoxication he was held to be released when sober.
