    Corner Brook RNC nab two people with outstanding arrest warrants

    A 75-year-old man was located inside Hotel Corner Brook. RNC say the arrest warrant had been in effect since October of 2022.

    Corner Brook RNC caught a man and a woman both with outstanding arrest warrants yesterday. Police say shortly after 8:15 am they located a 75-year-old man inside Hotel Corner Brook. RNC say the arrest warrant had been in effect since October of 2022. The 75 year old man was arrested without incident. He was charged with failing to appear in court, and failing to report his change of address to police. Then, just before 11:20 a.m. RNC noticed a wanted woman walking along West Street. The 31-year-old woman was placed under arrest without incident and detained for a court appearance later in the day.
