Mayor Jim Parsons says the city is ready to but they still need federal funding. The federal provincial program has ended and he’s looking forward to a new funding program.

Waste water treatment has been on the wish list at Corner Brook city hall for some time now and the Mayor wants to get things moving. Parsons says there are several infrastructure projects that will continue this summer like the completion of the Deep Gulch project and the replacement of a retaining wall in Curling. Parsons says the lack of affordable housing is another issue council plans on tackling.
