Corner Brook woman escapes vehicle fire

    The 33 -year-woman was about 5-10 minutes outside of Gallants on the TCH coming back to Corner Brook when she noticed smoke coming up from the dash and through the vents.

    A Corner Brook woman is thankful after a passerby stopped to help her when her vehicle caught fire yesterday. The 33 -year-woman was about 5-10 minutes outside of Gallants on the TCH coming back to Corner Brook when she noticed smoke coming up from the dash and through the vents. After waiting about 15 minutes for a vehicle, a person stopped and she was able to call 911 for help. The single mother of two is shaken but was not injured.
