The port's Jennifer Crane says the biggest ship of the season will be in port on Saturday.
Corner Brook’s cruise ship season is winding down, but there are still 8 more cruise ships on the schedule and two vessels anchored in port today. The Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas and upwards of 3300 passengers and crew, as well as, the Insignia owned by Oceans Cruises with over 1,000 passengers and crew, arrived this morning and will depart during the supper hour. Jennifer Crane is the Manager of Business Development at the Port of Corner Brook. She says both ships are due to head out around 5 pm. Crane says the biggest ship of the season will be in port on Saturday. She says so far, there are 33 cruise ships scheduled to arrive next year.
