Council awards a $3.5 million dollar contract to Marine Contractors Inc. for asphalt work in Corner Brook

    Meanwhile, the city also approved a proposal by AllRock Consulting Ltd. to complete inspection services for the 2024 asphalt paving season.

    Corner Brook city hall has awarded a contract worth over $3.5 million to Marine Contractors Inc. to replace asphalt and do road repairs in numerous areas. At Monday night’s public meeting, Councillor Charles Pender says there was  an assessment done by staff. Meanwhile, the city also approved a proposal by AllRock Consulting Ltd. to complete inspection services for the 2024 asphalt paving season. That comes at a cost of nearly $ 74,000.
