The environment, wind energy, and creating public dialogue will be the highlights at tonight’s Green Drinks Speakers session. The second series this year for the Western Environment Centre gets underway 7 o’clock at Bootleg Brew Co on West Street. Dr. Garrett Richards is a Professor at Grenfell Campus. He will be speaking about encouraging public dialogue participation. Brake says independent media can bring something different to the discussion and we are living in a news desert given that during the last few years, newspapers in Corner Brook and Stephenville have been closed.
