It will cost more to travel via Marine Atlantic this summer.
The crown corporation announced a fuel surcharge will increase from 13 percent to 17 percent effective June 1st. This cost will be added at the time of booking, not the time of travel. The next time the fuel surcharge will be updated is in December.
