In a move to bolster business and foster market expansion within the outfitting industry, the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Technology, Andrew Parsons, unveiled a financial injection of $21,700 through the Business Development Support Program for Off the Grid Adventures Inc.

Situated in Deer Lake, Off the Grid Adventures specializes in guided big game hunts, specifically targeting moose and black bear, in the vicinity of Roddickton—dubbed the "Moose Capital of the World." The company's lodge, accessible via a 20-minute float plane journey from Hawkes Bay, stands as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts.

Having played host to crews from renowned television shows such as Quebec Countryside and Canada in the Rough, Off the Grid Adventures has garnered widespread attention, with WildTV featuring episodes showcasing their operations.

The government funding is earmarked for strategic marketing initiatives.
