Deer Lake RCMP looking for missing 77-year-old American man who was a guest at the Driftwood Inn

• 61-year-old man dies after his moped collided with a backhoe in Dunville

  Shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Placentia RCMP received a report of a collision that occurred at the intersection of Main Road and Greenhouse Road in Dunville between a backhoe and a moped motorcycle. 

• 22-year old man dead after being ejected from a vehicle on the TCH near Norris Arm

  Upon arrival, officers determined that the vehicle left the TCH and the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene. 

• Human remains found in the ocean near Placentia Bay

  h. The remains were found by a commercial vessel that was working in the area and were transported to the Port of Argentia.
