Deer Lake Regional Airport CEO is confident passenger volumes will be up this year

    Tammy Priddle says last year, passenger traffic was slightly over 302,000 people. She says this week's announcement of Westjet's return in May will boost numbers.

    The head of the De er Lake Regional Airport is confident the facility will return to pre-covid passenger volumes this year. Tammy Priddle says last year, passenger traffic was slightly over 302,000 people. She says this week's announcement of Westjet's return in May will boost numbers. Priddle says this also means travellers will have connections to a network of other flights. The Westjet service will be in effect May16th to October 12th.
