Department of Education issues advisory saying no changes in Student Supervision Policy

    A teacher sponsor is preferred but, when one is not available, a lead volunteer can be appointed by the school administrator. 

    An advisory was issued yesterday by the Department of Education regarding the Student Supervision Policy, particularly in relation to school athletics. There have been no recent changes to this policy. A teacher sponsor is preferred but, when one is not available, a lead volunteer can be appointed by the school administrator.
