Detours and road closures as the final phase of the Mount Bernard Reconstruction project starts

    Traffic will be able to access Wellington Street and side streets via Main Street and lower Mount Bernard Avenue.

    The final phase of the Mount Bernard Reconstruction Project in Corner Brook starts today with closures and detours in place. Traffic will be able to access Wellington Street and side streets via Main Street and lower Mount Bernard Avenue. The detour will be via O’Connell Drive, Bliss Street, Country Road, Poplar Road. Until further notice, on-street parking will be prohibited between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily on the detour roads and pedestrian access is restricted through the construction area.
