Police found an unknown substance which turned out to be cocaine.
A 47 year old man who was arrested for drunk driving in February is now facing drug trafficking charges. RNC charged the man, who was found operating a snowmobile on a street in Labrador City. Police seized a quantity of an unknown substance at the time of the arrest. It was sent to a lab to be analyzed and last Thursday, the substance was identified as cocaine. The Wabush man has been charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and resisting arrest, as well, possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine.
