Prince Edward Park, operated by the Corner Brook Kinsmen Club.

While provincial parks are gearing up to open soon, Prince Edward Park on the North Shore highway is getting staff ready.

Corner Brook Kinsman Greg Barnes is the Park Chair. He says they will open for the season June 2, which is two weeks earlier than most years. It will be open until October 1st.

Barnes says they will be expanding and leveling some of the sites, and angling some other sites to provide more privacy. There are 90 sites in total at the park and 34 have been booked for the season so far.
