    Federal Emergency Preparedness Minister is on the west coast to meet with search and rescue teams.

    He will be in Deer Lake on Sunday to meet with 7 search and rescue teams.

    Federal Emergency Preparedness Minister Hargit Saijan  will be on the west coast this weekend. He will be in Deer Lake on Sunday to meet with 7 search and rescue teams. Sajjan is travelling across the province and on Monday will meet with his counterparts, and members of the emergency management community. They will  discuss lessons learned after the historic wildfires season, the way forward and how to better prevent, prepare and respond to increasingly more frequent and severe climate disasters.
