Fire permits are required in Corner Brook

    Permits can be obtained at the Corner Brook Fire Department

    If you're planning on having  afire in Corner Brook anytime soon, you will need a permit. The city's Fire Prevention regulations are in effect from June 1st to the end of August. Deputy Fire Chief Derek Simmons says an approved backyard fire pit is okay. He says there are things  that can't go in the pit. Anyone caught violating fire regulations can face a fine.
