Former St. John's RCMP officer charged with perjury and obstruction

    Cst. Paul Durdle, has since resigned but was an active officer at the time of the alleged offence.

    The province’s police watchdog has laid charges against a former St. John’s RCMP officer. Cst. Paul Durdle, has since resigned but was an active officer at the time of the alleged offence. SIRT-NL director Michael King says Durdle has been charged with perjury and obstruction after an incident last June. He is due to appear in court May 14th.
